Many of our Alameda owners hold property elsewhere in the East Bay too — a duplex in Oakland, a flat in Berkeley, a small building in San Leandro. Rather than ask them to manage two relationships, we extended our management practice to cover the broader region.
What we don't do is take on so much volume that the work stops being personal. We're still the firm where you reach the owner directly. That scales as far as we can make it scale, and no further.
